Food was far from authentic, not fresh. Our waters weren't checked on until the end. Service was kind, but low quality food

Very good. The food was hot. The service was good. The rice was a little dry but every thing else tasted good and freshly made.

The food was not good. This kills it for me. The service was fine, even great, but the rice was dry, the fryer oil was old, and the wonton soup was incredibly salty.

Wonton soup and tea was good.. the rest was not.. sweet and sour pork was to crisp you couldn't bite into it. Chow mein was mushy

So disappointed. Not only me but my whole family. We ordered chow mein, sweet n sour pork and shrimp, etc and all you can taste was heavy MSG taste. Hot n sour soup had MSG taste as well. Noodles tasted bland n so oily with MSG after taste. My family and I had to run (exaggeration ) to a near Dairy Queen and had ice cream to clenched the MSG after taste. If you don't mind MSG on your food go here. Otherwise, I highly don't recommend it. Sorry GGCR.

Very nicely furnished, clean with good service. Food Is quality product but leans toward the mild in style.

We went in there and ordered the golden gate fried rice, and the shrimp was super old and sour smelling. Over powered the whole table with foul smell. Chicken chow mein was top ramen flavored chicken noodles and no chicken in it! It use to be a great restaurant, I don't know what happened. We should have took it as a obvious sign it was high noon and we was the only people there on a Saturday!?! Needle to say we left without a to go box. No point in complaining, our waitress didn't speak English and I read previous reviews stating manager doesn't care you still pay. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

This was the absolute worst place ever! The food tasted old and bad. When I told the manager he said too bad, you have to pay. I should have known when the place was EMPTY! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!

Worst place I've ever been. Metal in my food and the rice was rancid. Shrimp was moldy and when I gave them the food back they tried to make me pay for it. No thank you I took a sample of the food and called the health inspector. Investigation is in process.

My co-worker and I placed orders to go. I ordered a #6 lunch combo, but that is not what I received when my co-worker came back to the office with our food. My main entrée (sweet and sour chicken) was not included, but there was pork fried rice instead (I HATE rice). The chow mien was mushy and almost one solid piece. When we called to point out the error and have the meal replaced, they told us that it is our responsibility to check the orders before we leave, and refused to make things right. I wasted $11 on a few fried won tons and soup. Golden Gate lost two customers today.

Never again. Bad service. Food was not worth the price. Owners should check out their completion, and clean the place up.

Service was great. The food was excellent. Will definitely recommend and we will be back.

Food use to be excellent went here with my family i ordered beef chow mien no veggiesWhat I got was sauce less top ramen with meat (at least the meat was delicious)I asked for some "extra" sauce to pour on looked like they mixed corn starch in it to make it thick

This used to be our favorite place to eat.. but last handful of times we have ordered to go it has taken 30 minutes longer then they tell us and when it does finally show its WRONG and you have to wait another 20 minutes for them to make correct order. Such a shame because used to be so good which is only reason we keep trying. Wishing we had a better option for Chinese take out.

Do not eat here! Seafood was rotten! It was green! I couldn't believe they cooked rotten food! This place used to be top notch! Worse place to eat!

Fast service, but it was only because there were no customers. Soup was not even warm, seems like the microwaved everything. Chow mein was oily and slimy. I got the combination #2.

I'm not sure how this place has such great reviews. The food is edible, the prices are average, and the service is good, but that's about it. The noodles were soft and mushy, and the chicken tasted like a reheated frozen dinner. Maybe I just came on the wrong day, but I definitely wouldn't recommend this restaurant.
